Our main mission at DCBE/ Acton Volunteer Fire Department is to save lives and properties during crisis situations. Our department is privilaged to serve such a generous and giving community. Throughout the year, our department has received awards and grants for our service and dedication to keeping our neighbors safe.

The DCBE/Acton Volunteer Fire Department is better equipped to keep all community members safe thanks to a grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The $18,327.54 grant will be used to purchase Eight AEDs, 10 CAT Tourniquets, CPR/AED Training Equipment & Accessories fulfilling a critical need within the department.


VFIS of Texas & Texas Mutual Insurance Company are pleased to sponsor a need-based Financial Relief Grant program for volunteer fire departments and nonprofit EMS organizations in Texas. VFIS of Texas and Texas Mutual have come together to donate $200,000 for this grant program. Grants in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded.


A big thank you goes out to our local Granbury, TX Walmart store, it's management and employees for selecting the DCBE/Acton VFD to receive a $1,000 Community Grant. The Walmart Foundation generally provide more than $1 billion in cash and in-kind support to programs that align with their philanthropic priorities.
