WHY DOES THE FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPOND WHEN I CALLED FOR AN AMBULANCE?

Fire Dept. personnel are medically trained and many hold the same certifications that the personnel on the ambulance hold. We respond to assist the community in their time of need, along with adding an extra hand for the crew aboard the ambulance.

DOES THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFER CPR CLASSES?

We can connect you with CPR Resources and classes in our area. Please call (817) 326-2659, leave a message if no answer.

CAN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HELP ME FILL MY SWIMMING POOL?

No, we do not use our apparatuses to fill swimming pools or tanks of any kind.

DOES THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAVE SOMEONE THAT CAN HELP ME MOVE STUFF?

I WENT TO THE FIRE STATION AND I COULDN'T FIND ANYONE AROUND. WHAT IF I HAD A MEDICAL EMERGENCY

  • If you ever have an emergency you should always call 9-1-1.

  • If you need a safe place in front of the station is a good place to stay, members will be dispatched after a 911 call is made and meet you there.
