WHY DOES THE FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPOND WHEN I CALLED FOR AN AMBULANCE?
Why Does the Fire Department Respond When I Call for an Ambulance? The DCBE/Acton Volunteer Fire Department responds alongside EMS to provide the fastest possible emergency care. Our firefighters are trained in emergency medical response and can begin patient assessment, provide lifesaving care, assist EMS crews, and help ensure the best possible outcome while the ambulance is en route or upon arrival.
Does the Fire Department Offer CPR Classes?
Yes! We periodically offer CPR and AED classes for members of our community. These classes teach lifesaving skills that can make a critical difference during an emergency. Follow our social media pages or contact the station for information about upcoming classes.
Please call (817) 326-2659, leave a message if no answer.
Can the Fire Department Help Fill My Swimming Pool?
Unfortunately, we are unable to fill residential swimming pools. Our water supply and apparatus must remain available and ready for emergency response at all times.
How Can I Support the Fire Department If I Can't Volunteer?
There are many ways to support our department! You can make a donation, attend fundraising events, participate in community programs, or simply help spread the word about our mission. Community support allows us to continue providing the highest level of service to those who live, work, and visit our area.
